XL Eclipse and UCOP start today
It’s another massive day for online poker as two more mega series get underway today.
Good news, both 888poker’s XL Eclipse and MPN’s Universal Championship of Poker (UCOP) start today.
With a guaranteed $8 million in prizes, 888poker’s XL Eclipse online tournament series boasts XL's largest prize pool ever.
There are 197 events to get stuck into with buy-ins ranging from $5 to $5,200. The series kicks off this afternoon with the $160 buy-in $300,000 gtd Opening Event, plus a Mini Opening Event that has a reduced $12 buy-in but still boasts a cool $50,000 in its prizepool.
On September 24, the series comes to an end with a $1,050 Main Event that guarantees $1.5 million.
€750,000 Universal Championship of Poker
With €750,000 in guaranteed tournaments plus a €10,000 UCOP Tournament leaderboard as well as a Great Players €5,000 leaderboard, this is a series definitely worth getting involved with. Access to this year's UCOP can be enjoyed at both RedKings and Stan James.
On top of the tournaments, is the leaderboard which, should you win, you’ll take home €5,000 in cash and the Greatest Poker Player in the Universe 2017 trophy.
Day one begins today at 15:00 (BST) with the €5.50 buy-in UCOP Event #1 that has a guaranteed €5,000 to play for. On September 24, the series' final day, the €75,000 Main Event will run at 18:30 with entry costing €320.
Satellites are running now in both rooms allowing you to win your seats at the biggest events.
