GGMasters 5th Anniversary forced to reschedule

The $5 million freezeout was paused and then eventually rescheduled after technical issues.

As is sadly often the case with ambitious online poker tournaments, the GGMasters 5th Anniversary event has been forced to be rescheduled after already starting.

The freezeout tournament had a $5 million guarantee with a $150 buy-in and when the cards went in the air more than 20,000 people were already seated.

However, players started reporting being shut out of the client and just a few hours in, GG had to pause the tournament after a system issue. They also had to cancel and refund all the other tournaments that night.

The tournament currently has the status 'On Standby' in the GGPoker lobby. 21,992 players are currently in the tournament, so it looks like when it resumes the guarantee will easily hit given the late registration period was far from over and there is more time now for satellites.
