FTOPS XIV Ready to Start
In exactly two weeks, Full Tilt Poker will start with the 14th edition of its tournament series. 25 events are scheduled with a guaranteed prize pool of $16 million.
From 4th to 15th November, tournament players can look forward to another edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS). With a total of $16 million in prize money, six tournaments will be hosted with a guaranteed prize pool of at least one million dollar each.
The first event, a $200 + $16 NL Hold'em 6max tournament, has a prize pool of 1,000,000 and kicks off at 21:00 ET (3:00 CET on Nov. 5).
The winner of each event can look forward to a Full Tilt Poker jacket, an FTOPS shirt and an avatar of the same color. Additionally, every spot as of place 72 rewards the player with points for the FTOPS leaderboard. The winner of the final ranking will get a present in form of a user-defined avatar and a prize package, enabling him to participate in any event from the following FTOPS XV – with only one exception: the two day event.
Especially this NLHE tournament is, besides the Main Event, one of the highlights of the series. Players of other game types can also participate. Besides No Limit, you can find other game types in the schedule, such as: No Limit Hold'em like 7-Game, Stud/8, PLO, PLO/8, HORSE, Razz or perhaps Limit Hold'em.
The little brother of the series, the MiniFTOPS, will again start later. From 9th to 20th December, these events attract low budget players as the buy-in amounts to one tenth of the original buy-in.
Satellites for the events are already under way and a specifically designed challenge entices with more winnings for those who qualify frequently.
