Tom "durrrr" Dwan has been knocked down from the highest stakes online, but now he is grinding his way back up. He started off by playing PLO $50/$100, but also ventured to the higher stakes. His results for now show that he is up by close to $1.5 million.

How far are the pros willing to go? We have seen the action at the nosebleed stakes constantly rising month after month, but this November brought it to a whole new level.
Isildur1 is the player responsible for the unparalleled action at the highest stakes. While his identity remains uncertain, his rise and fall have certainly become the story of the year.
This "unknown" Swede has single-handedly dispatched Tom "durrrr" Dwan, taking around $5 million from one of the most feared players in the world. However, Isildur1 eventually lost all of his winnings to other pros and now sits stuck by over $1.3 million.
durrrr on a comeback road
While durrrr (pictured right) was too proud to dodge Isildur1 in NLHE, as some pros did, he surprised many railbirds by moving down to PLO $50/$100 in order to grind his way back up. It hasn't been more than a few days since durrrr stepped down to the "lower limits" and he has already amassed close to $1.5 million.
Over 5,100 hands against 41 different opponents was enough for durrrr to book a profit of $526k. He played 1,527 hands of PLO $50/$100, 258 hands of PLO $100/$200 and the rest of the action went on at the PLO $200/$400 tables. Cole South was durrrr's victim of the day, losing $439k in 355 hands of PLO $200/$400.
Payback time
After that successful session, durrrr charged again and 1,374 hands later, he pocketed another $950k. The victory was all that sweeter to durrrr because he managed to win $400k against Isildur1. They started off by playing five tables of NLHE $300/$600 and with durrrr up by $100k, Isildur1 requested a switch to NLHE $500/$1,000.
They played two tables there and after Isildur1 won some money back, he wanted to move back down to $300/$600 to play more tables. durrrr agreed again and won around $300k there before Isildur1 retreated for the day. Overall, it was a modest session of 328 hands, but nevertheless a successful one for durrrr.
