WSOPE Event #2: John Racener Holds the Lead After Day 2
John Racener has taken the chip lead in the second event of WSOPE 2010, which is now down to just 15 players after two play days. Meanwhile, Day 1A of Event #3 attracted over 200 players, including likes of John Juanda, Jason Mercier and others.

The fourth day of the World Series of Poker Europe 2010 in London saw Day 2 of Event #2 being wrapped up, as well as Event #3 kicking off with its first preliminary day.
Amongst the 49 players still remaining in the PLO Event #2 were likes of Barry Greenstein, Roberto Romanello, Vitaly Lunkin, Hoyt Corkins and many more known names. However, none of them managed to secure their seats for Day 3.
Racener takes the lead in Event #2
While many top pros got felted, John Racener (pictured right) climbed up the leaderboard to end Day 2 of Event #2 in the chip lead. He will lead the pack of 14 other survivors into Day 3 with a stack of 276,000 in chips, while his closest challenger Karl Mahrenholz holds a stack of 211,000 in chips.
Besides the PLO event, the fourth day of WSOPE also featured the £1,075 buy-in No Limit Hold'em event kick off. 202 players showed up on Day 1A of this event, including Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Jason Mercier, Antonio Esfandiari and many more familiar faces. By the end of the day, only 28 players remained, with Jeppe Bisgaard holding the largest stack of 49,000 in chips. These players will now have to wait for Day 1B and 1C to be played out today and tomorrow.
