Full Tilt Poker Players Surveyed by French Magazine

Several players with funds locked up on Full Tilt Poker have been contacted by a French magazine which is connected to Bernard Tapie. In the survey, the players were given three hypothetical repayment options.

According to an article posted on PokerFuse, French magazine LivePoker has been in contact with several players who have significant amounts of money on Full Tilt Poker (FTP).

The players were apparently called and were asked how they would like to be repaid in case Full Tilt Poker goes back online. They were given three choices:

Buy FTP shares with some of their funds and sell them back to the company at a later date.
Immediate cash out, but with a penalty which was not specified.
Cash out the entire amount but over a period of a year.

In the survey it was also mentioned that there is a "growing rumor" according to which Full Tilt Poker could return "within weeks". The players were also asked if they would continue to play there if FTP would actually come back online.

The French magazine is somewhat connected to Bernard Tapie: the owner of this magazine George Djen is also the founder of FullFun Company, which partnered with Tapie for the International Stadium Poker Tour.

Another interesting thing is that, according to PokerFuse, only players with large bankrolls locked up on Full Tilt Poker were apparently contacted, which could mean they have access to some inside information like player database and their balances.
