Final Table Reached at EPT Sanremo
After 5 days of play at the PokerStars EPT Sanremo, the 8-player final table has been reached. Each of the 8 players comes from a different country, and Canadian Jason Lavallee holds the chip lead.

Who reached the final table?
Jason Lavallee (5,545,000 chips) - The chip leader heading into the final table is 26-year-old Jason Lavallee from Montreal, Canada. Lavallee qualified for this event on PokerStars, and is no stranger to big final tables - in 2009 he finished in 2nd place at the WPT Festa al Lago for $795,000. His lifetime tournament earnings add up to over $1 million.
Ludovic Lacay (5,366,000 chips) - Likely the most experienced player at this final table, Frenchman Ludovic Lacay has over $2 million in lifetime tournament earnings. He's reached final tables on all 3 major tours (WSOP, WPT, and EPT), and he hopes to finally secure his first major victory in Sanremo.
Jason Tompkins (3,605,000 chips) - In third place is Jason Tompkins, an Irish player with over $400,000 in tournament earnings which come mostly from events held in Ireland. This is his 4th EPT cash but first final table.
Ismael Bojang (2,845,000 chips) - German Ismael Bojang has nearly $400,000 in lifetime cashes, including a large number of small cashes this year. Regardless of how he finishes, this will be Bojang's biggest single payday.
Adrian Piasecki (2,045,000 chips) - Polish Adrian Piasecki has roughly $1,000 in lifetime earnings on record, and is likely the least experienced player at this table.
Angelo Recchia (1,755,000 chips) - The last hope for the EPT Sanremo title to go to an Italian player is Angelo Recchia. His greatest poker success came earlier this year when he won a side event at the IPT Sanremo.
Micah Raskin (1,550,000 chips) - American Micah Raskin is the third player at this final table with 7-figure lifetime tournament earnings (the others being Lavallee and Lacay). His biggest scores came from $1,500 buy-ins at the Borgata in Atlantic City, and this is his first final table on a major tour.
Artem Litvinov (800,000 chips) - The shortstack is Russian Artem Litvinov, who is best known for finishing in 5th at the 2012 EPT Grand Final's High Roller event for €216,000.
