| The legal battle begins |
The Atlantic Club Casino has hit back at PokerStars' parent company, the Rational Group, following the latter's recent lawsuit against them.
Earlier this week the casino stated that they were unaware of the "serious criminal activities" Isai Scheinberg was accused of.
In a court document they claimed not to know about the extent of Rational's battle with the US government. Moreover, the ACC claimed that Rational aren't the "innocent victims" they've portrayed themselves as.
While many of the ACC's claims are attacks on Rational's integrity, their main legal argument hinges on a cancellation clause they say was built into the original contract.
In their opinion, this means that they could terminate the deal by a specific date regardless of Rational's interim casino licence application.
Rational refute this claim and will have a chance to respond later this week when the first legal hearing takes place on Friday.
PokerStrategists' SCOOP successes

Following Benny 'psychobenny' Spindler's victory in Event #1, PokerStrategists 'hopeflooky' and 'jon011' have earned themselves SCOOP titles.
'hopeflooky' was the first to receive a $132,704 bankroll boost in Event #5, just before 'jon011' managed to overcome George "Jorj95" Lind in Event #6.
The $1,050 No Limit Draw event attracted 65 players and when the chips had fallen it was 'jon011' who scooped the title and $22,800 ahead of Lind ($15,200).
Yesterday's other impressive SCOOP performance came courtesy of Adam "Roothlus" Levy. The American pro managed to play a live final table and an online one at the same time.
While grinding his way to third place in the EPT's Monaco Cup, Levy simultaneously overcame 2,764 runners in Event #3 to win $67,484 and his first SCOOP title.
Brunson hangs up his bracelets

| No WSOP for Doyle |
Doyle Brunson won't be going for an eleventh WSOP bracelet this year according to a recent tweet.
In a message to his fans, Doyle said he is "finally gonna give in to Father Time and pass on tournament play at WSOP #toomanyhours."
Doyle's first WSOP title came in 1976 and over the course of his WSOP career he managed to bag ten bracelets, including two Main Event titles.
However, the rigours of the modern WSOP have taken their toll on the 79 year old and in 2012 he only played four events.

Gus Hansen is used to spectacular downswings, but in the last 24 hours he's enjoyed one of the largest single online wins this year.
A mammoth session at the FLO8 tables helped the Dane secure an overall profit of $1,570,224 and top the daily leaderboard a long way ahead of "cottonseed1" ($300,762).
The impressive run saw Gus take money from a string of talented regulars, including: Viktor "Isildur1" Blom (-$627,523), Alexander "PostflopAction" Kostritsyn (-$578,778) and Kyle "KPR16" Ray (-$405,504).
With Gus now finding some form, we could see a flurry of activity at the virtual felt over the next few days.
