Daily Rewind: PokerStars' $1 million show, NJ open, Carter Gill wins LAPT
Today we give you a chance to enter a million dollar shark cage, go live with New Jersey gaming and clinch an LAPT title with Carter Gill.

A new TV show produced by PokerStars will see one lucky player walk away with $1 million in 2014.
Entitled The Shark Cage, the event will comprise of eight preliminary heats taking place at various EPT stops before a final showdown in London.
Each player that qualifies for a live Shark Cage event will face off against five pros in a bid to build a stack capable of clinching the seven-figure top prize.
To ensure there's an emphasis on entertainment, all potential players will go through an audition process and a number of special rules, such as 'Don't Get Bluffed', will be in force during each match.
Qualifying for The Shark Cage is a two-stage process: players must first finish within the top 50 of a qualifier. Those that do must then upload an audition tape to YouTube before a phone interview determines the most appropriate player.
Satellites will take place at 15:00 ET every day until November 30 and players can receive a free ticket by using the following deposit codes:

Online gaming went live in New Jersey earlier today and when the lights had been switched on a number of operators were given access to the US market.
Following a five-day soft launch period last week, six operators were given the green light to open up their platforms to New Jersey residents by the Division of Gaming Enforcement's director, David Rebuck.
One poker site that will be notable by its absence is PokerStars. Despite forging links with Resorts Casino Hotel - following the breakdown of a deal with Atlantic Club Casino - the Rational Group hasn't yet been granted a licence to operate in the state.
In contrast, Betfair has managed to get in on the ground floor and launch a New Jersey specific gaming site.

Carter Gill aka Mr. Saddest Face at the WSOP recently turned his frown upside down by winning the LAPT Grand Final in Uruguay.
Taking part in the tour's season finale alongside 508 players, Gill managed to capture the chip lead early on Day 2 and never relinquished his position at the top.
Not known for hiding his emotions (as you'll see in today's Daily Signoff), Gill managed to keep his cool as those around him dropped away at the final table.
However, after Ariel Mantel exited in third place ($106,300), Gill had a temporary meltdown which saw him lose his 9:1 chip lead to Ivan Raich.
On the verge of going on tilt, Carter eventually agreed to a deal before reasserting his dominance and forcing Raich to the rail in second ($172,568), leaving himself free to scoop the title and $218,692.
Alexander 'PostflopAction' Kostritsyn topped the latest high stakes leaderboard with an impressive haul worth $659,502. Coming over the course of 763 hands, the Russian's profit was over $500,000 more than his closest rival, 'ragen' ($155,198).
On the receiving end of Kostritsyn's upswing in the last 24 hours was Gus Hansen. Another tough session for the Dane resulted in a $615,292 loss and top spot on the daily deficit chart.
