888.com with strong first quarter results
888 Holdings, parent of our affiliated poker platform PacificPoker, posted strong first quarter results. Now they want to expand their offer.
In the online gaming area, 888 Holdings was able to post revenues of $64 million in the first quarter of 2008, which is an impressive 38% increase in comparison to last year's same time period. The revenues of the poker platform PacificPoker increased by 5% to $22 million.
Now they want to expand their offer and entered a three-year licensing deal with the Irish online gaming and software company CryptoLogic. 888 Holdings is now able to freely pick from CryptoLogic's product portfolio and integrate desired games into its software. As of now, four new games were included, among them the logic-based game Sudoku.
