Phil Ivey loses $1 million in June
It's been a quiet month at the online felt but that didn't stop Phil Ivey losing seven-figures in June.
June is always the quietest month at the virtual tables because all the high rollers are in Vegas, however before finally arriving at the WSOP, Phil Ivey still lost enough to be the biggest loser of the month.
He lost $1,047,781 in a single week last month to create a combined loss on PokerStars and Full Tilt of $2,181,124 this year - making him the biggest loser of the year so far by quite a margin.
The biggest winner of the month was 'fjuetkk' with $180,560. If you are wondering why the winners won comparatively small amounts this month, it is likely because the actual biggest winners of June have opted out of having their results tracked.
Given that all the stars of the game are in Vegas, it makes perfect sense that the shrewder players who like to stay under the radar would make up all the biggest winners in June.

Over at the live felt a very big cash game is taking place at the time of writing. A $250,000 buy-in cash game with blinds of $400/$800/200 has been streamed on Twitch live from the Aria this week.
Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Jennifer Tilly, Sam Trickett, Antonio Esfandiari, Scott Seiver, Patrik Antonius and Johnny Chan have all been in attendance.
