Jacob makes Tournament of Champions
Earlier this year poker player Alex Jacob surprised everyone with an amazing winning streak in the US game show Jeopardy, winning $151,082 over seven games. His performance was so good that he has now made it to the Tournament of Champions finale tonight.
$250,000 goes to the winner, and standing in his way are fellow champions Matt Jackson and Kerry Greene.

He took to social media this week show the world he plans to become an official US citizen, in what he says is a bid to stop potential future President Donald Trump deporting him:

This year's Main Event final table was heavily criticised for the amount of tanking involved, but did that harm the ratings?
The first two days saw a noticeable increase in viewership. On Sunday ESPN had 810,000 viewers, compared to the 592,000 the same time last year. Monday attracted 709,000 compared to 493,000 on the same day in 2014.
However, on the final day 1,147,000 viewers watched Joe McKeehen take down the title, a slight drop compared to the 1,159,000 who watched Martin Jacobson do the same thing last year.
