PokerStars crown 12th Spin & Go millionaire
Canadian player 'Koovoon' is the latest to take down the $1m jackpot in a $100 Spin & Go.
With a prize pool of $1.2m, 'AndyG1810' and 'Play2win$1KK' had to make do with $100,000 each after the 39th hand saw Koovoon pair his ace to claim Saturday's jackpot.
In one of the quickest ever jackpot games, Koovoon, real name Kevin Laird, fought off the two Russians in just nine minutes.
Koovoon is the twelfth player in total to reach millionaire status since the SNG's were launched over year ago.
Running until the end of November, PokerStars launched its current Anniversary SNGs in late October and quickly made six millionaires in a week, with the winners coming from countries such as England, Brazil, Estonia, Germany and Australia.
This latest news comes in a week where PokerStars were awarded Poker Operator of the Year at the eGaming Review Awards in London.
