A second ACR Ambassador RTA controversy
For the second time in a month, controversial online poker room ACR has seen one of their ambassadors brazenly play poker while GTO Wizard is open on their computer.
Less than a month ago Nacho Barbero shared an image of himself playing on the site with GTO Wizard open. Over the weekend an image of ACR Pro Ebony Kenney doing the same thing a year ago has resurfaced:
Yo another acr pro using wizard while playing.https://t.co/7lEL1GIVYA
This time was @Ebony_Kenney

Sadly, the ACR PR department's response made the story much worse, which they often do. First of all, it took the better part of three days to get a response, then the response itself was very dismissive:
We are aware of a recently resurfaced screenshot showing ACR Poker Pro, @Ebony_Kenney, with GTO Wizard open while playing The Venom tournament in January 2024. This image first circulated on social media at that time and there was no evidence that the software was used in…

Kenney also waited three days to respond. She said that she had the software open to review a hand she had previously played, not to influence her real-time decisions. She also referenced the fact that she pulled a $150,000 bounty just this month on ACR.
I know there’s been some conversation, so I’m addressing it directly. Full statement attached. pic.twitter.com/VgfZv58eOl

It is plausible that Kenney was reviewing a previous hand, just as Nacho's excuse that he was coaching students while playing was believable. However, both cases are still against the Terms and Conditions of ACR, and one would assume ambassadors are held to a higher standard.
This is just one of many scandals at ACR, a site PokerStrategy.com has never promoted, with the most notable one being the $10 million bot ring and PR disaster that followed it. Needless to say, we encourage our members to avoid playing on the site.
