A tournament structure with no clock?
Do you like the idea of the 'Savage Average' format where blind levels increase when the average stack falls below 50BBs?
Legendary tournament director Matt Savage has announced a new format that would do away with the need for a clock in tournaments, potentially reducing stalling and allowing for more play.
The 'Savage Average' format will see the blinds increase whenever the mean average stack reaches 50BBs.
The tournament would start shallower than most MTTs do, but likely end much deeper when the money is significant.

Answering questions about the format, Savage said that a clock shot would likely be implemented to prevent stalling near the bubble. Late registration would end at a specified time period, rather than blind level.
Perhaps the most promising thing about the idea is that it has not attracted much criticism on Twitter. Normally new innovations get quickly scrutinised on poker Twitter but the reception has been positive so far, which bodes well for the format.
