April Fools Charity Poker Tournament Hosted by Howard Lederer

Full Tilt Poker Pro Howard Lederer and his wife Suzie will host the April Fools Charity Poker Tournament on April 1. The event will take place at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas with all of its proceeds going to charity, namely to the Las Vegas Springs Reserve.

The event's MC is Matt Savage, one of the world's foremost ambassadors of the game and a co-founder of the Tournament Directors' Association along with David Lamb and others. He expressed optimism towards the April Fools Charity Poker Tournament:

"Howard and Suzie have done so much for me and the game of poker. I am proud to be involved in such a great cause and it should be a great event!"

Prizes will be distributed amongst the top ten finishers of the $230 buy-in tournament, with the winner taking home a $10,000 WSOP Main Event seat, a Curtis & Company watch and a custom crystal trophy from Legacy Alliance.

A whole line-up of pros is scheduled to appear and help support the noble cause, including Andy Bloch, eight-time WSOP bracelet winner Erik Seidel, 2008 WSOP H.O.R.S.E. Championship winner Scotty Nguyen, Jeff Madsen and Jennifer Harman, who has recently raised $111,000 for the National Kidney Foundation at the fundraising event in Reno.
