Canadian Open Poker Championship 2008 announced

HeadsUp Entertainment, the organizer of the Canadian Open Poker Championships, announced the date of the event. It will run from 5th to 9th March at the Deer Foot Casino in Canada.

The main event is the CN$ 5,000 No Limit Hold'em Heads-Up Championship event. There will be 128 seats and thus a guaranteed prize pool of more than half a million dollars. Last year, James Lopushinsky defeated Karim Chatur in the finals to win the tournament. On his way he eliminated, among other players, Huck Seed.
