Chris Ferguson's WSOP banner gets a makeover
We recap some strange stories this week from the WSOP and beyond, including problems in the Rio hallway and a big win for Bart.
Ferguson facelift
A bizarre story to begin with as Chris Ferguson is back with another curious PR move at the WSOP. This time his Main Event winner's banner at the Rio has been replaced. Gone is his picture sporting a Full Tilt logo and in its place a lovely recent picture with two puppies.
Last month Ferguson raised eyebrows by apologising for the Full Tilt scandal some seven years after it happened, and this appears to be another cynical attempt to rewrite history.

Huge win for Hanson
Fans of podcaster and live poker commentator Bart Hanson were cheering this week, as he managed to parlay tilt into a $200k jackpot:
I was so pissed about busting in the $10k O8 tourney last night I decided to let off some steam...😆 #CrushLiveVideoPoker pic.twitter.com/Fj1Zr389Dz

Hallway issues at the Rio
Another bizarre story from the World Series of Poker and the biggest collective complaints so far in Vegas have not been at the tables, it has been about a number of predatory salesman in the hallways of the Rio.
By all accounts they have been selling overpriced headphones, poorly performing smartphone chargers, insulting people who don't buy anything and even harrassing women. Joe Ingram was on the case to get the lowdown on this story:
Poker in the New Yorker
On a more positive note, it doesn't get much classier than the New Yorker and this week several big names were featured on their YouTube channel to share the hand they cannot stop thinking about:
Are you at the Rio and have you seen anything dodgy in the hallways? Let us know in the comments:
