Could High Stakes Poker be coming back?

A survey was released by TV network GSN asking viewers questions about the show, but it was taken down earlier today.

It's been missed sorely by all since Black Friday in 2011, but popular TV show High Stakes Poker could be making a comeback in the not-so-distant future.

Last week, GSN - the American television network behind the show - rolled out a video on their YouTube channel (which has now been taken down) directing viewers to a survey about the show.

The network (if it was actually them) asked questions about what players viewers would like to see at the table and how much they valued the presence of commentators Gabe Kaplan and Kara Scott.

They also enquired over how often participants watched poker on television and if they'd ever seen High Stakes Poker. The survey was also taken down earlier today.

Best poker show ever?

Though it took a bit of a beating in its most recent series when central figures such as the aforementioned Kaplan, Phil Ivey, Mike Matusow, Tom Dwan, David Benyamine and Gus Hansen stopped taking part, in its first six seasons High Stakes Poker was extremely popular, and produced some of the game's most memorable on-screen moments. 

Gus Hansen making quads against Negreanu's full house, Brad Booth muscling Phil Ivey off his pocket kings, Jamie Gold's Hollywood negotiation tactics against Sammy Farha, the biggest pot in televised history between Benyamine and Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte - the list is almost endless. 

However, arguably the most memorable aspect of the show was the rise of a certain Tom Dwan, who captured the imagination of viewers around the world with his nauseatingly fearless string of bluffs.
