Cracked Aces bursts the Main Event bubble
We saw two of the sicker bubble hands from the history of the WSOP Main Event to put 1,000 players into the money.
It is usually a cooler of a hand that bursts the bubble of the WSOP Main Event, not for any Poker Gods fate reason but simply because nobody wants to take a massive risk at that stage in the biggest event in poker. It's inevitable that monsters will clash.
With that in mind we were treated to two particular set-up hands to get the field over the line and into the money this time around.
Not quite the bubble itself but near enough to warrant a mention, that rarest of things Quads vs Quads on no less than the feature table itself:

Onto the actual bubble and it was almost as sick. Kevin Campbell got Aces in the middle against A9s only to lose against rivered trip nines. It's hard enough to bust with Aces, the bubble of the Main makes it even worse, but having an animated Mike Matusow at the table probably didn't help much either.
Guys… holy shit… the money bubble just burst in the wsop main event in the grossest fashion at my table.

Everyone, apart from Campbell, celebrated afterwards in the most hotly anticipated bubble of the poker year. Now it's all about bracelet hunting.
Everyone is guaranteed at least $15,000 for their troubles but now all eyes will be on that final table which pays out as follows:
