It wasn't a bad weekend for arguably the hottest female in poker right now. Not satisfied with being an Astrophysicist, rock guitarist and EPT champ, it seems Liv Boeree is keen to add 'pilot' to her long list of skills.

Daniel Negreanu's weekly rant on his V-Blog has created quite a stir since its inception a few weeks back.
Negreanu's candid approach has endeared him to the poker community for the most part; his views on the FTP scandal have been refreshingly frank and it seems that he is about to cover another contentious topic in this week's episode.
Negreanu has been friends with Erick "E-Dog" Lindgren for some time now, and recent revelations over at 2+2 suggested that Mr Lindgren has been unwilling to repay some long standing debts.
Daniel remarks on 2+2 this week that "Edog made loads of mistakes and was out of line expecting a stranger to conform to a culture he wasn't either part of, or aware of" and promises to go into "way more detail" in his blog.

The "Isildur1" rollercoaster continued at pace this weekend over at PokerStars. After a whopping $600,000 spin-up on Friday, Viktor Blom managed to donate back over half of his winnings on Saturday.
Sunday was kinder to the Swedish online phenom however, as he has banked a tidy $200,000 over the past 24 hours according to HighStakesDB.
It's been a profitable 24 hours for Rafi "refaelamit" Amit and "RaiseOnce" (the rumoured account of Phil Ivey) with Amit banking just over $300,000 and "RaiseOnce" profiting close to $250,000.
Meanwhile Alexey "LuckyGump" Makarov's turbulent year at the tables has taken another nosedive, after he posted a painful loss of $334,000 yesterday.

The WPT's hectic schedule hits another poker room this week as the Bay 101 Shooting Star WPT starts today over at the Bay 101 in San Jose, California.
Decent numbers are expected for the $10,000 buy-in event, with players all looking to emulate last year's winner Alan Sternberg who picked up a $1,000,000 cheque for his victory.

Poker 770 hits Dusk Till Dawn
There's more tournament news today with the announcement that Poker 770 will be sponsoring the second poker event of the Mega Poker Series 2 at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham.
The main event sees a quirky format with a €770 buy-in, 77 minute clock and 77,000 starting stack. Of course the tournament kicks off on the 7th March. For more info check out the Dusk Till Dawn website.

Daily Signoff
Erick Lindgren may not have been able to fade his gambling debts, nor was he able to fade a drunken Scotty Nguyen in the 2008 WSOP Players Championship.
He was however able to fade the high five of Scotty's fellow drunk on the rail Layne Flack, after his elimination at said final table.
