LA Poker Classic day 4
The WPT LA Poker Classic saw an action packed day four after which Noah Schwartz was left in the box seat, leading as he does with 1,770,00 chips.
A flurry of bust outs saw MTT specialists Schwartz, Dan Kelly and Stephen Chidwick rise to the top of the pile, all sat ominously with just 18 players chasing the $1.3 million first prize and coveted WPT title.

High stakes corner
German PLO afficionado "doncarignano" sits at the top of the HighStakesDB charts, having banked a tidy $104,016 for his past day's work.
He's closely followed by "verve.oasis" and Ben "milkybarkid" Grundy, who both profited close to $70,000 for Monday's play.
It was a rough day for six-max PLO specialist Alexey "LuckyGump" Makarov who dropped a painful $173,439 over the course of the day.

Poker After Dark returns
According to reports, hit poker television series Poker After Dark is set to return to our TV screens on March 5th.
The NBC Sports Network will air five weeks worth of unaired episodes, including four weeks of a cash game and one week (six episodes) of a sit-n-go.
Although the shows were produced late in 2010, they are previously unseen and pave the way for future brand new PAD episodes.

Chicago Poker Classic kicks off
This year's Chicago Poker Classic has kicked off with a bang, with a record breaking 2621 entrants taking part in the first $240 NL event in the series.
The Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana proved a popular destination for poker players in last year's event, and this year is no different where records look set to be smashed for player turnout.

GBT: "Positive progress has been made"
In case you missed our news item, Groupe Bernard Tapie lawyer Behnam Dayanim made an exclusive statement to PokerStrategy.com yesterday on the progress of the Full Tilt deal.
"Positive progress has been made in recent talks", claims Dayanim, who also intimates that "everyone has agreed to let the process continue for a bit longer."

News reached us today that that the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has just seized the Bodog.com domain name.
The Bodog.com domain name has been inactive for some months now, however it is unclear whether other Bodog-owned domains will be targeted. Read our full story here.
