Last night the great and the good of the European poker scene gathered inside the Aviation Club de Paris for the GPI-sponsored European Poker Awards.
As reported yesterday, Marvin 'xcrash154' Rettenmaier was in line for two awards, but he wasn't the only community member being recognised.
While Marvin scooped the European Player of the Year title, Jens 'jenskyllonen' Kyllonen and 'olekonjole' were also honoured.
After finishing as Europe's biggest online winner (and second overall) in 2012, Jens won the award for Internet Player of the Year.
'olekonjole' then claimed the Rookie of the Year title ahead of Aubin Cazals, Gaelle Baumann (WSOP 2012 final table bubble girl) and Lucille Cailly, thanks to his two major titles in 2012.
Also picking up awards were Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Roberto Romanello and PokerStars, for their European Poker Tour.
Three's a charm for Guttman

Three was the magic number for Michael Guttman yesterday, as a trio of wins netted him the Aussie Millions' third event.
The $1,100 Shootout attracted 210 runners, which meant it took Guttman just three single table wins to bank $44,100.
By the conclusion of Day 1 a total of 21 players remained and amongst those vying for the title was British pro Richard "Chufty" Ashby.
However, as the tournament progressed, Ashby eventually fell away in 15th place, whilst a remaining nine players, led by Peter Evans, made the final table.
Evans lead was soon cut, though, allowing Guttman to grind his handful of chips into a tournament winning stack.
A dominating chip lead for Guttman meant the heads-up finale against Shane Foglietta took just a few hands before the former claimed his fourth Aussie Millions title.

Elder reflects

It's been a few days since Rupert '
RupertE' Elder scooped the second-largest win of his career and during that time he's been reflecting on his fortunes.
In a recent blog post he's credited his recent success to a more "regimented" approach.
Rupert also reveals that, had he not it not been for his commanding chip lead, he'd have made a deal with fellow PokerStrategist Martin '0piggybank' Finger because he considered him a "superior heads-up player".
Away from the felt, Rupert is having sailing lessons and is also looking to take up a new sport in order to have a more balanced lifestyle.
High stakes poker

It took Ronny "ronnyr37617" Kaiser (pictured left) just 451 hands to rake in $183,349 and top yesterday's high stakes leaderboard.
A day of mixed game action put the Swiss player just ahead of "RaulGonzalez" who banked $179,588 over the course of 3,034 hands.
"wilhasha" suffered the largest loss in the 24 hours (-$211,511), but the story of the day was Patrik Antonius's losing start to 2013.
Yesterday's action saw the Finnish pro drop $177,058, which takes his overall deficit to $404,540.
