WSOP Bracelet Bling
With the WSOP just over a week away the organisers have finally unveiled the prize every player who steps into the Rio will be fighting for.
Created by Jason Arasheben, this year’s newly designed bracelets will be cast in gold and feature the four suits in separate corners.
Arasheben’s work is popular with some of the world’s biggest celebrities, including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Rihanna. The Beverly Hills designer has also crafted bling for the L.A. Lakers in the form of two World Championship rings.

Commenting on the new design, WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart said:
“Blinger is better. Jason grasped the heritage of WSOP bracelets, but was only interested if he could take it up several notches. This is a trophy that truly embodies the promise of today’s WSOP.”

A Micro Adventure
The poker community’s favourite animated grinders, The Micros, returned yesterday with another satiric sideswipe at the industry.
Phuoc: My Life may be short on words but the protagonist’s sentiment is something that will ring true with anyone who spends too much time listening to the plethora of so-called “insiders” with “credible” news on Full Tilt.

High Stakes Corner
While the high stakes cash game action being somewhat tame over the last 24 hours, yesterday’s SCOOP action was anything but dull.
The big buy-in events attracted a number of big names, but it was Event #31, $2,100 8-Game, that created the most excitement.
At the final table were four players who are all used to mixing it up in at the nosebleed level. Richard “Chufty” Ashby, Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier, Alexander “joiso” Kostritsyn and Chris “Genius28” Lee all looked on course to win the title.
However, after some intense action it was high stakes hero, “Genius28” who took down the event and scooped the $58,315.
Daily Signoff
He’s often reluctant to express himself on camera but in a recently released video by Party Poker, Tom “Durrrr” Dwan gives us an insight into how he rates some of his fellow players.
