EPT Season 6 full schedule announced

PokerStars has announced the confirmed dates and locations for the 9 remaining events of the season after successfully hosting the Kyiv, Barcelona, London and Warsaw legs recently.

The sixth season of the PokerStars European Poker Tour has started off with a bang. Ukraine kicked off the season by hosting its first ever major international poker tournament in Kyiv. The tour then went on to break the UK tournament attendance record in EPT London.

The remainder of the EPT season will include events that span from cool Scandinavia to the ever classy French Riviera. Monte Carlo remains as the hosts of the season ending EPT Grand Final while a new event, the EPT Snowfest to be held in the Austrian Alps has been added to the exciting EPT calendar.

Skiing, snowboarding and poker in the Alps

The EPT Snowfest event is set to be one of the most exhilarating legs in the Season 6 schedule. With one of Austria's premier skiing locations Saalbach-Hingerglemm as the host of this leg, players will be able to spend time at the slopes for some excellent skiing and snowboarding while not playing at the tables.

Players will be able to qualify for this six-day snow and poker extravaganza via satellite events that will be hosted on PokerStars. Winners of the prize package will not only get a paid entry to the €3,750 event at the Alpine Palace hotel, but also a bus transfer from Salzburg airport and a six day ski package that includes lift-pass, skis, boots and poles.

PokerStars EPT the world's largest poker tour

With the latest additions to its schedule, the Pokerstars.com European Poker Tour is set to become the world's largest poker tour in terms of both players and prize pools. Season 5 with its 11 events attracted a total of 7,901 participants from 97 countries and generated a prize pool of almost €55 million. With 13 events in Season 6, both records are set to be broken.

Online satellites to win entries to the EPT events in Vilamoura, Portugal and the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure at the Bahamas is running now. For an investment of as little of $2.22, players will stand a chance to win prize packages that includes their tournament buy-in, luxury accommodation and spending money!
