Both had hit two pair, but Bell had the higher one with . The river didn't change anything, Katz was eliminated, and the final table had been determined.

Doudney quadrupled shortly before the end

Nathan Doudney's seat on the rails was already reserved when he tossed his last chips into the middle of the table. Three opponents called his all-in and checked down to the river. The board showed , and Doudney quadrupled his stack with . Nonetheless, he will still start as short stack with his 175,000 chips tonight.

Tran on Rank 24

Many expected to see Theo Tran on a final table of the WSOP 2008 for the third time already. Tran performed remarkably well for now, but in Event 13 it was all over on rank 24. With he lost against when his opponent hit the eight on the flop. Turn and river changed nothing anymore.
