Foxwoods WPT: Greenstein Out

The $10,000 WPT Championship sent 7 more players home, including Barry Greenstein and the last woman standing, Joanne Monteavaro. Lenny Cortellino has taken over the chip lead, while Joe Raposa is holding on the last of his chips.

Barry GreensteinDay 4 featured action at two tables between 17 remaining players. Barry
Greenstein (pictured right) had the largest stack at his table, but that didn't help him
grab a third WPT title, as he was knocked out in 12th place.

Joanne Monteavaro was the last woman standing in the tournament and had
to settle for the 14th place.

Meanwhile, Amnon Filippi is still hoping
to become the third player this season to reach multiple WPT final
tables. He already final tabled the WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond
World Poker Classic at Bellagio in December.

At the end of the day, only ten players secured their seats for the
next round of eliminations. Day 5 will see four more players parting
their ways with the race for the title.

Reason as to why Day 4 wasn't played down to the final six is because
the WPT production crew couldn't be available until the following day
since they had to tape the playdown day for b-roll footage that is used
during the show.
