Gus Hansen wins six-figures

We round-up some high stakes stories including Fedor vs Phil, Polk vs Schwartz and the biggest winners of the year so far.

Gus is back

It was something of a surprise to see Gus Hansen return to the world of public high stakes poker, but he did just that this week in the live streamed €50/€100 game at the King's Casino in Rozvadov. 

In what was essentially a three day session for the Great Dane he left the casino up roughly €143,000, after winning €140k on Sunday, €36k on Monday and losing about €33k on the final day.

Shots fired

Every time Fedor Holz has a big score in a tournament he breaks some sort of record but this one may be particularly entertaining. With his most recent score in Macau he overtook Phil Hellmuth on the all-time money list and he wasn't shy about sharing it:
