First, he won an immense $345,000 against Haseeb Qureshi but then he dabbled in the Sky Limits which brought him a loss of $380,000. But who is this unknown player, who provided the action at the high stakes?

He must have played from Sweden and his nick is "Isildur1", but his identity is yet to be clarified. This weekend, the "unknown player" dabbled in the highest limits of online poker and drew attention on him with his highly aggressive type of play.

Initially, this secured him startling winnings at the $100/$200 PLO tables against Haseeb Qureshi, but when he tried to beat the highest limits in No Limit Hold'em, he had to learn the hard way.

The pros who levelled him down were mainly Ashton "theASHMAN103" Griffin, Brian Hastings and the online pro "THENUTHUNTER".

Four hands for $40,000

Against Ashton Griffin, Isildur1 would not play for a long time. Already in the first dealt hand, both players pushed their chips to the middle and Griffin's aces lasted out the fives of the "unknown player" who, after that, treated himself to a break of the $200/$400 NLHE session after only two more hands played.

Hastings ruins Isildur1

After that break, Isildur1 was allured back to the $200/$400 NLHE tables. This time, he tried his luck against Brian Hastings. But after 2,400 played hands, Hastings had enhanced his money bag by $135,000 not least due to a failed bluff on the part of Isildur1 with king high.

The two of them went on with their duel at the $300/$600 NLHE tables, at which Hastings could make a profit of $131,000 in only 600 played hands.

The aggressive type of play that the "Unknown" displayed did not seem to pay off, but nevertheless, he went on dabbling in the $300/$600 tables and played a short session of 178 hands against "THENUTHUNTER", before he gave up his place with a loss of $106,000.

Antonius as a "build-up rival"

Eventually, Isildur1 ventured to the highest limits of online poker and played on $500/$1,000 an NLHE heads-up against Patrik Antonius (pictured right). He could, however, only win $23,000 from Antonius before he left the table.
