Is there a Robbi Jade Lew reference in a new X-Men comic?
The J4o hand is used as a deadly weapon in an issue of X-Men that came out earlier this year. Surely that is not a coincidence?

More proof that the Garret Adelstein vs Robbi Jade Lew hand may have genuinely been one of the biggest hands in poker history. Not only did it make the mainstream media when it happened, it may have also been immortalised in a Marvel comic.
Eagle Eyed poker journalist Chad Holloway spotted this in an X-Men comic from April this year, six months after the hand took place.
Holloway (who released his own poker comic in 2015) noticed that the Gambit character threw two cards which matched perfectly, suits and all, the infamous hand played by Robbi Jade Lew:
Wait, what?
I’m reading a @Marvel X-Men comic (Rogue & Gambit No. 2 from April 2023) and Gambit pulls out his patented cards to charge and throw.
Clearly either the writer or artist knows a bit about poker as Gambit pulled out “The Robbie” jack-four hand from the infamous… pic.twitter.com/KMAel5Xkqq

The character of Gambit is able to turn everyday objects into deadly weapons, most notably playing cards. This is not the first time his character has been associated with the poker world.
Blink and you miss it, but Daniel Negreanu makes a cameo in this scene from X-Men Origins: Wolverine where the Gambit character is playing poker:
All of that suggests that the X-Men writing staff does have a poker fan in their midst.
