Ivey Takes December By Storm

Phil Ivey continues his profitable sessions in Decembers, cashing in $540,000 in just two days. Ivey has thus made around $7.6 million so far this year by playing on Full Tilt Poker.

Full Tilt PokerIt was posted here that, according to HighstakesDB.com, Phil Ivey ended November with a profit of over $700,000 in No Limit Hold'em, the second best NLHE player according to the ranking. Ivey doesn't seem to slow down in December, as he has just made $535,000 in only two days.

Most of his profit in December comes yet again from No Limit Hold'em, where he managed to cash in $462,000 over 1,241 hands. Overall, Ivey made a profit of approximately $800 for every hand he played there.

Phil IveyThe biggest pot so far was $355,000 and he won it against Patrik Antonius and Tom Dwan in NLHE on Tuesday.

Dwan raised preflop to $3,000, Antonius called from the SB and Ivey raised to $12,000 from the BB. When the rainbow flop of came, Ivey bet $27,000, Dwan called and then Antonius went all-in. Ivey called Antonius' all-in and Dwan folded.

Antonius showed for an OESD, while Ivey had for an overpair. The turn brought a , and when the river flipped , it was all over for Antonius and Ivey won the $355,146 pot.
