LAPT Chile: Argentinian Club Owner Gets The Win
216 entrants played for the $141,426 for winning the LAPT Vina del Mar in Chile. One online qualifier reached the final table.

From January 20th to 22nd, the PokerStars
Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) made a stop in Vina Del Mar, Chile. 216 players came together, creating a prize pool of $523,800. Some pros also made their way to the South-American country, including Humberto Brenes, Alexandre Gomez, as well as the married couple Maria and Max Stern from Costa Rica.
After over 15 hours on Day 2, the final table was set. It was hardly a surprise that the tourney was dominated by South-American players - not a single player from another region of the world could be found in the Top 10. In the end, it was an Argentinian who came out on top - the club owner Fabian Ortiz was able to win the event, and take $141,426 back home.
Eleven online qualifiers were able to finish the tournament in the money. One of them was especially successful: Fabio Escobar from Brazil. He finished sixth which earned him $23,571.
