New durrrr Challenge Kicks Off
Daniel "jungleman12" Cates and Tom "durrrr" Dwan have started their challenge and the first session is over. Read more to see who took down the first round.
Not long ago, Daniel "jungleman12" Cates confirmed that he will be Tom "durrrr" Dwan's next opponent in the "durrrr Challenge".
The two have just finished the first session of this challenge at the Full Tilt Poker tables, playing a total of 1,651 hands of $200/$400 No Limit Hold'em.
durrrr wins first round
After this first round, durrrr (pictured right) has taken the lead, winning a total of $130k.
Dwan also wrote in his blog the details of the challenge:
- the stakes will be $200/$400 No Limit Hold'em
- they will play a total of 50,000 hands
- they will play at least four tables at once
- if a player's stack goes below 75BB, he has to reload
- if a player's stack goes above 250BB, he can stand up from that table
- the "Run it twice" feature will be used throughout the whole challenge
- if durrrr wins the challenge, he gets an extra $500k from jungleman12; if he loses, he has to pay $1.5 million
