Phil Hellmuth is doing a Reddit AMA this week

If you've ever wanted to ask the Poker Brat about bracelets, blow-ups, investing, or how he eats sandwiches, now is your big opportunity.

Joining a recent trend of high profile poker players doing Ask Me Anything threads, Phil Hellmuth is doing an AMA on r/Poker this Friday.

The Poker Brat is arguably the most famous poker player in the world and appears to be doing a question-and-answer session to promote Octopi, in which he became a recent investor.

Phil has already suggested some topics of conversation, including "white magic", blowups, his 17 bracelets, and, seemingly for the first time, he will be discussing poker study.

These things are often a baptism by fire, and it will be interesting to see if he gets pressed on more controversial topics like his time at Ultimate Bet. There is already a question waiting for him about how he eats sandwiches (strangely) and whether he shies away from tough cash games.

Jumping back into the bear pit

The way AMAs work on Reddit is the best questions get upvoted. There tends to be a first mover advantage in this respect. However, Phil is answering the questions on Friday, so there is still time to ask yours.

Phil has previously done another AMA on Reddit more than ten years ago. That was on the main AMA subreddit, whereas this one is on the poker-specific one.

It seems that Reddit AMAs are a great place for poker players to get the word out, as several high-profile names have recently done them. Daniel Negreanu and the usually very guarded Steven Chidwick have both jumped into the bear pit online to answer questions.
