PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event: 48 Remain
Day 3 of the 2011 PCA main event brought the end to 125 tournament lives as the field was trimmed down to 48, including PokerStrategist Glorstaxus. The final table is now in striking distance and the $2.3 million first place prize is on the minds of the remaining players.

48 players remain in the hunt for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event title, while the chip leader from Day 2 stumbles to maintain grip on his leading chip stack.
Adam Geyer, the chip leader at the end of Day 2, didn't fare as well on Day 3 as he slipped to the bottom of the tournament tier, ending the day in 43rd place.
Overtaking Geyer as the first place holder was Chris Oliver (pictured right) who started the day in 3rd place, but managed to play his way into the top, spot finishing the day with 3,675,000 in chips.
The runner-up is Max Lehmanski, who is quite far behind the chip leader, having almost 1.4 million chips less. Completing the top 3 is John Andress, whose stack is close to the 2 million mark.

Two PokerStrategists entered Day 3 of the Main Event, but only glorstaxus remains, as dahustla was sent to the rails during the day. Glorstaxus (297,000 chips) will have a lot of catching up to do on Day 4, as he will sit down with the smallest chip stack in the room.
The last remaining PokerStars pro, Chris Moneymaker (pictured left), remains in 5th place, who increased his chip stack of 650,500 into a healthy stack valued at 1,636,000.
Other notable poker players still alive in the quest for the $2.3 million top prize are poker pros Eric Froehlich and Mike Sowers.
Froehlich has two World Series of Poker bracelets to his poker resume and has been a strong force on the tournament circuit.
Mike Sowers has two career live wins and has earned over $2.5 million in online tournament winnings. Both players are in the top 15 heading into Day 4 of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.
