PokerStars launch Fusion Split Showtime Spin and Go
The ultimate all-action game has just hit PokerStars and to celebrate there is a $5,550 freeroll that includes Sunday Million tickets today. UPDATED!
Keeping up with their new tradition of trialling new unsolved formats, PokerStars have removed Six Plus Hold'em from the client and replaced it with Fusion Split Showtime Spin and Go.
The new format combines the best aspects from previous trial formats. It's a Spin & Go meaning you can play for up to 1,000 times your buy-in. It's a Split format meaning there are two boards, so expect plenty of split pots. Like Fusion before it, you start with two hole cards but get extra ones dealt on the flop and turn. Finally, just to make it interesting, like in Showtime Hold'em you get to see the cards your opponents mucked.
The new game is available right now in the PokerStars lobby, with stakes from $0.25 all the way to $60.
Assuming the format keeps the same trajectory as the other novelty formats from PokerStars, you can expect it to stay in the client for about two months. pokerfuse are already reporting that the next new format in the PokerStars client could be Power Up PKO Spin & Go's.
To mark the launch of this exciting new format today PokerStars are hosting a $5,550 Split Showtime Fusion Spin and Go Freeroll at 13:00 ET (just search for Split Showtime Fusion Spin and Go). This will include nine $215 tickets to the 13th Anniversary Sunday Million and a further 241 $15 satellite tickets.

Yes it was an April Fools Joke, but the freeroll is real. PokerStars liked the joke so much they added the freeroll to the lobby.
