PokerStars.com EPT Barcelona: Team PokerStrategy.com poised and ready
After the WSOP, Team PokerStrategy.com now joins the action in Barcelona for the European Poker Tour. With the potential of the first prize going well-above €1 million, Nazgul and others couldn't hide their excitement.

You can expect Allanon, Nazgul, Pokernoob and Trader to play the Main Event on the 5th of September.
A potentially huge prize pool
For this second event of what's already the sixth season of the EPT, the buy-in for the Main Event will be €8,000+300. The field in the Gran Casino is capped at 800 players, so when full, this tournament has a total prize pool of €6,400,000 an equivalent of $9,200,000. This makes it one of the biggest tournaments of the year - reason enough for Team PokerStrategy.com's players to be excited.
Nazgul says: "If the tournament fills up, the first place will pay out way over a million Euros. Such massive pay-outs don't occur every week, especially not in Europe. The big pay-out combined with the nice venue, Barcelona, is a reason enough for me to look forward to this event. I hope I can continue my good run from the main event and that I can meet the guys from PokerStrategy.com again in Barcelona."
Nearly €1.4 million for last year's champion

Jason Mercier also made a great performance in that tournament, finishing 6th for €227,000 and this year he has already had a highly successful run in the WSOP.
Another notable achievement was by PokerStrategist Malte "bagger0405" Strothmann who finished in 21st place in last year's EPT Barcelona and also had a fairly successful WSOP this year.
