Reno To Host The 2009 World Poker Challenge
Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada has opened its gates to the World Poker Challenge. Taking place from February 26 to March 15, the tournament series will feature 25 preliminary events and a $5,000 championship held on the last two days.
The World Poker Challenge at the Grand Sierra Resort has kicked offwith a $2,000 added No Limit Hold'em tournament with $200 buy-in. 2009
has brought some changes, namely additional $100,000 in total prize
money which has been spread through the tournament series.
A total of 25 preliminary events will be featured in the tournament
series as well as a $5,000 championship which will run from 14th to
15th of March. The tournaments are divided into No Limit and Limit
Hold'em, H.O.R.S.E., Omaha Eight-or-better, Seven-card Stud
Eight-or-better and Pot Limit Omaha.

$340 mega satellites for the $50,000 added No Limit Hold'em with $3,000
buy-in will be held from 9th to 11th of March at 4 p.m, with an
additional one on 11th of March at 7 p.m. There will also be $340 mega
satellites for the $5,000 No Limit Hold'em championship, taking place
from 12th to 13th of March.
