Sunday Majors to Move Earlier Time Slots

PokerStars has announced that as of next Sunday a lot of tournaments will be starting earlier; something that should put a smile on European players' faces.

PokerStars makes Sunday Majors start times more Euro-friendly

PokerStars is taking another step towards wooing European players. After already bringing forward the starting time for the Spring Championship of Online Poker, the times of the Sunday Majors are now also changing.

Main tournaments such as the Sunday Million and the Warm-Up will start two hours earlier than previously. The first session at the new times takes place this coming Sunday, 5th June. Low rollers haven't been left out either: the $11 Sunday Storm no longer begins at 20.30 GMT but now at 18.30 GMT.

But players have more than just earlier start times on their poker Sundays to look forward to. For the first session at the new times, PokerStars is also holding value-added satellites and doubling the guaranteed winnings in the Sunday Majors. For example, the Sunday Storm on 5th June now guarantees $400,000.
