Team PokerStars Pro Adds Norwegian Lodden

Johnny Lodden has already proven himself as a successful online and live tournament player. Now, he has become the most recent addition to the Team PokerStars Pro roster, joining a stellar roster of poker legends such as Daniel Negreanu and Barry Greenstein.

PokerStarsTeam PokerStars Pro has recently extended the number of team members to 31, with the latest addition to the roster being Johhny Lodden.

Lodden will promote the PokerStars brand in both online and live events, as well as various global poker tour circuits. His nickname on the site will be "johnnylodden".

Lodden has thus become the first Norwegian player to join a team which already holds names such as Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Greg Raymer, Chris Moneymaker, Vanessa Rousso, or Joe Hachem. Before Lodden, PokerStars added some more pros to their roster, such as Ylon Schwartz and Dennis Phillips, both WSOP Main Event Final Tablists in 2008.

successful on all frontiers
His poker career began with playing online tables from his hometown of Jorpeland, Norway. After doing well at online tables, he moved on to the highest-stakes cash games and at one point even held the record for the largest pot ever played online.

Lodden has also been successful in live tournaments, as he won the 2004 St. Marteen Open and ever since plays in nearly every event he can. So far, he has made the final two tables six times on the EPT, including an eight-place finish in the 2008 EPT Hungarian Open.

The last year's final table of the WSOP Europe Main Event in October slipped through his hands, as he finished in 11th place and earned $96,581.
