The $25,000 WSOP Fantasy Draft is back

See how high rollers like to bet on railing poker like the rest of us as the $25k draft returns after two years.

Most of us participate in some sort of WSOP prop bet to make railing the series more fun and that is no different if you are a high roller. 

This week saw the return of the $25,000 WSOP Fantasy Draft, where notable members of the high stakes community pony up $25,000 each to bet on who they think will have a great series. Dan Shak, Daniel Negreanu, Maria Ho, Shaun Deeb and Ryan Riess are all among the players who entered this year. 

Each entrant has $200 to bid on poker players to form a team of eight. Players who are guaranteed to have a busy WSOP end up costing more, for example Shaun Deeb went for $110 and Daniel Negreanu for $111. 

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Ali Imsirovic went for just $1 due to the significant cheating allegations against him. Following the news he was turned away at the EPT and given his preference for nosebleed events, you would not bet on him playing many bracelet events. However, the $1 investment may have paid off already as he has made the final table of the $100,000 bounty event.

14 teams were registered in total and the overall winner of the draft gets $200,000. You can see all the teams and scoring details here.
