WPT: Coach Langmann Doing Great

It took 16 hours before the final 27 players were able to finish a grueling day. Still in the race for the title are Hevad Khan, Vanessa Rousso and Florian 'FA_Morgoth' Langmann.

It is quite possible that this was the most exhausting Day 2 ever in the history of the WPT. The players had to remain at the tables of the 'Southern Poker Championships' for 16 hours before they were allowed to crash into their beds. Despite this effort, our coach Florian 'fa_morgoth'
Langmann was probably very satisfied. He will start the third day as fourth in the chip count. Another decent result after the second place in the side event of the PCA.

The outlook on the possible win of $1,000,000 and the secure feeling to already have at least $13,168 in his pockets at the end of the day will probably blow away any fatigue, so that Day 3 promises a lot of excitement and great poker.

Besides fa_morgoth (picture on the left), Hevad Khan and Vanessa Rousso are still amongst the last 27 players. While Khan is still above the average of 314,444 chips with his stack of 443,000, Rousso is already a short stack with 129,000 in chips and will need help early on.

Meanwhile, fa_morgoth has 603,000 chips in front him, and thus an excellent starting position for the day.

Day 3 begins today

Today, the action continues - the match will go on until the six players for the final table on Saturday have been determined. The players will start on Level 13, so that the blinds are at 3,000/6,000 with an ante of 1,000.
