WSOP APAC: Phil Ivey Wins Another WSOP Bracelet
Phil Ivey has taken down the third WSOP APAC bracelet and pushed his overall tally to nine, thanks to a win in today's Mixed Event finale.

He started the day as the favourite and after watching his closest rival, Daniel Negreanu, fall away in fourth, Phil Ivey took down Event 3 of this year's WSOP APAC.
While his AUD$51,840 prize money won't change his life, the bracelet does take him one step closer to Phil Hellmuth's record tally of 13. Indeed, with nine pieces of WSOP silverware now in his possession, Ivey will go into this year's summer WSOP with a surge of momentum behind him.
Ivey's latest bracelet came after he bested Brandon Wong in a round of 2-7 Triple Draw action. After taking a large portion of Wong's chips, Ivey finally brought the match to a close when his 
was enough to beat Wong's queen-high.
As Event 3 came to a close, Dominik 'ace0ntheriver' Nitsche was among those vying for a place in the finale of Event 4. However, as the field shrunk, Nitsche hit the rail in tenth, leaving Brendon Rubie to lead the final charge towards the end of the day.
