WSOPE Main Event Recap: Day 2

Good news for Team PokerStrategy.com. All three players that started yesterday have managed to move on to the third play day and a few steps closer to the money.

The average on Day 3 will be 106,000, with the blinds at 800/1,600 and an ante of 200.

On his direct right was Jason Mercier, and the two got into quite a few blind battles out of which PokerNoob got the best in the end. Currently he has the most chips from the team with 154,400.

He is followed by Trader who started the day with an exact average stack and also managed to finish the day in the same fashion with 106,000.

Allanon started the day as a short stack with only 20,000. The first day he couldn't hold on to his early gained chips and that forced him to flip for stacks early today. His flipping skills were well polished and so he doubled up quickly with Ace King against pocket Queens. To top it off, Allanon got it in right before the day ended, this time holding pocket queens, against flopped trips. Two outs were enough for Allanon and so he finished the day with 64,700.

Only 94 out of the 334 that started remain. The top 36 places are paid out and the players will reach the money tomorrow.
