JC Tran
Age: 36	Lifetime Tournament Earnings: $8,308,259
From: USA	Current Chip Count: 38,000,000
Biography: Born in Vietnam but raised in the United States, JC Tran is the best known and most decorated player at the final table. Among his achievements he has one WPT title, two WSOP bracelets, a WCOOP Main Event title, a WSOP circuit ring, a PartyPoker Premier League title and a WPT Player of the Year title. Away from the table he is a great ambassador for the game and a much liked family man. With his chip stack and his resume he is a huge favourite to be crowned the champion.

Amir Lehavot
Age: 38	Lifetime Tournament Earnings: $1,541,643
From: Israel	Current Chip Count: 29,700,000
Biography: Professional player Lehavot is originally from Israel but now resides in Florida. He is the only other previous bracelet winner in the field, having won the prestigious $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship in 2011 for $573,456. He holds an engineering degree from the University of Texas and at 38 is the oldest player at the final table.

Marc McLaughlin
Age: 25	Lifetime Tournament Earnings: $677,168

Biography: Entrepreneur McLaughlin from Canada is one of the only players at the final table who doesn't refer to himself as a pro, but he still has an impressive resume. He has been coming to the WSOP for five years and his previous best result was coming 30th in the Main Event for $253,941 in 2009. He is also a tattoo artist, yet doesn't have any tattoos of his own. Marc is friends with 2010 champion Jonathan Duhamel and will be looking to replicate his friend's success for Canada this year.

Jay Farber
Age: 28	Lifetime Tournament Earnings: $0

Biography: Nightclub host Harber is the least experienced player in the field, having only started playing in the WSOP last year. His job involves taking people out in Vegas and showing them a good time, so it should make for an interesting rail (and no doubt the party to end all parties) if he goes on to win big. He is a very popular figure on the poker circuit and has a lot of high profile player friends to help him fine tune his game during the break.

Ryan Riess
Age: 23	Lifetime Tournament Earnings: $309,478

Biography: 23-year-old pro Riess is the youngest player at the table. His biggest single result was in a WSOP circuit event where he came second for $239,063. Riess has been playing home games since he was a teenager and has vowed that the money he wins in November will not change him. Upon making the November Nine he simply tweeted the word 'YES' in one of his only public statements so far.

Sylvain Loosli
Age: 26	Lifetime Tournament Earnings: $3,198
From: France	Current Chip Count: 19,600,000
Biography: Professional player Loosli is originally from France but now resides in London, England. This is only his second cash in a ranking tournament, as he is an online cash game specialist with over $1 million in earnings, mainly from heads-up. He plans on spending the break playing live tournaments around Europe to improve that side of his game.

Michiel Brummelhuis
Age: 32	Lifetime Tournament Earnings: $671,706
From: Netherlands	Current Chip Count: 15,155,000
Biography: Brummelhuis from Amsterdam is a professional player and is the first Dutch player to make the Main Event final table. He has made several WSOP final tables and his biggest cash prior to this event was a 4th place finish in a $25,000 PCA High Roller for $154,350. There will be little rest for Michiel before November as his first child is expected in September.

Mark Newhouse
Age: 28	Lifetime Tournament Earnings: $2,004,277

Biography: 28-year-old Newhouse is another very accomplished player at the final table. He has already made a WSOP final table, but most notably he won the 2006 WPT Borgata Open for $1,519,020. He went into the unofficial final table with just six big blinds but managed to find a double up to book his seat in November.

David Benefield
Age: 27	Lifetime Tournament Earnings: $633,243

Biography: He may be the short stack at the table but David Benefield will still be regarded as one of the biggest threats. He is one of the icons of the online game, a much feared cash game player known as 'Raptor'. He now splits his time between playing and University, where he is studying political science and Chinese at Columbia University.
