Today's quiz motto is 'a colourful mix'. From flop question over tricky spots on the river to slowplay - the quiz covers everything. In order to be succesful, you have to master a diversity of situations against unknown opponents.
Question 1:
Preflop: Hero is BB with 6 , 6 3 fold, MP2 raises, 1 folds, MP3 calls, 3 fold, Hero calls.
Flop: (7,0 SB) 6, 2, 8 (3 players) Hero checks, MP2 bets, 1 folds, Hero raises, MP2 3-bets, Hero?
You defend your big blind with 66 and hit second set and second nuts on a very nice flop. The villain 3-bets in position and heads-up - you're facing your first decision.
Question 2:
Flop: (7,0 SB) 6, 2, 8 (3 players) Hero checks, MP2 bets, 1 folds, Hero raises, MP2 3-bets, Hero caps, MP2 calls.
Turn: (7,5 BB) K (2 players) Hero bets, MP2 calls.
River: (9,5 SB) A (2 players) Hero bets, MP2 raises, Hero?
You've decided to cap on the flop. Villain calls the flop-cap and the bet on the turn. On the river, an ace hits the board. It should be obvious that you have to value-bet against a lot of weaker made hands. A majority of the worse made hands would probably check behind while they would call another bet, so checking would cost you value.
You might think about inducing a bluff from busted draws by checking, but taking in consideration the previous action, Villain will probably not see a possibility of success for a bluff. Your check could look like a check/call and if he's willing to bluff the ace, a bet could even be a better way of inducing it. Your bet could indeed look like a (crying) bet/fold, because that line would make more sense here. Villain finally raises your bet and you're faced with another decision:
Question 3:
Preflop: Hero is BU with 3 , A 2 fold, Hero raises, 1 folds, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.
Flop: (6,50 SB) 7 , 7 , 7 (2 players) BB bets, Hero?
You open-raise A3o and face a 3-bet from the big blind, which you can only call. The flop shows three of a kind on the board and you have to wonder: fold, call or raise?
Question 4:
Flop: (6,50 SB) 7 , 7 , 7 (2 players) BB bets, Hero calls.
Turn: (4,25 BB) A (2 players) BB bets, Hero?
You decide to call and you hit your ace on the turn. You're now holding the 3rd nuts (a single 7 and AA beat you). After some consideration, you figure that you should be far ahead and you decide to slowplay your hand. But... is that a smart choice?

Against two limpers, you decided to just complete your medium pocket pair to take a look at the flop and play it on good boards. You hit 2nd set and 2nd nuts and naturally bet for value. The BB raises you and both players behind him fold. What's your battle plan for this hand?
