Booked another green day yesterday. Today I'll do a villain analyze and go through a video.
Went out for second rehab run, 13 minutes, no ache in my shins! Wow, I could've gone for another 30 minutes easy. So pumped up for being able to run properly in a month or so.
Three positive days in a row. Wow, long time no see! Breaking early for some wine and a girl coming over.
Played recreational games with a friend last day, threw in some poker on stars and won some. Today I'll get in some studying, what poker I can fit into schedule and tonight it's yearly meeting with the cable wake board community I'm in. After that I'm of to the girl I've been seeing.
Bankroll challenge:
2623 hands
+$115
roll: $710
been in for half a week
Hi DREAMC4T,
I'm enjoying your blog.
Re: your OP - spontenaeity certainly has its place but I am sure that your more organised approach has served you well in poker ♠_drink:
What is the tax&poker situation in Sweden?
(I know that in Scandinavia in general you all pay higher tax rates than in the UK but things actually seem to work for that.
Enjoy your hols.

Hey
Yeah, both yes and no, postponing studying (there will always be a more optimal time), not moving up in stakes when I should etc. But all in all I guess it has been quite good for me, havn't really thought of it that way, thanks
Poker in Sweden is actually tax free, due to EU regulations. Everything else is quite heavy taxed, but I'm not "affected", I try to compensate with being honest in other areas where people tend to hide from the tax man (like TV licence etc)
That is pretty sweet.
I have looked over at Sweden from that bridge in Copenhagen that everyone keeps making TV shows about
but never actually set foot on the foreign soil.
Whats the live poker scene like?

Are you suggesting that poker is tax free in all EU countries? I had always assumed it was more complicated then that once segregated player pools became a thing a couple of years back.

The main part of the bridge is actually in Sweden and not Denmark! It's 'owned' by both nations, but the whole connection Denmark-Sweden is through a tunnel, over an artificial island and the bridge, where most of the latter is on Swedish soil.
Live poker in Sweden is quite dead, it's government controlled as it's only allowed to be played in casinos (which are run by the government). So there is actually only 4 places in all of Sweden where you can play, at least legally. There are some clubs that get shut down every now and then. Due to this there is two Swedish championships each year, one run by the state's company Svenska Spel and one run in another country by the Swedish poker coalition (Svenska pokerförbundet).
Not sure about the rest of EU to be frank, but I'm quite sure it's taxed in some countries. Sweden probably has some laws making it impossible (in combination with EU regs) to tax it.
Interesting stuff, thanks. GL with the grind and my apologies for the confusion with the bridge
of course the majority of it is in Sweden
Today I'm quite tired, long night, early (in my book) morning. Hung out with some friends for brunch. I've been getting me a 'level' for putting up some stuff in my apartment, which I should get to work with soon! Might take this day of for poker, depending if I get less tired later on. Otherwise I'm fine with one/two days of throughout the month.
Today I've been to IKEA and bought myself a sofa! Good on me. Now I've got an hour or two before I'll head for some wall climbing. I'll fix some food and finish watching the newest video in the red line rampage series, which I've enjoyed so far!
Yesterday I had time for one session before turning in for the night, applied some of the stuff from the video I saw, great stuff. Felt like in the beginning of my career after seeing an eyeopening video/concept. Nice. Today I've built my new sofa which is now complete! I'm soon of for another run at IKEA (swede acting like a swede) and then I'll try to get home tonight after seeing the girl I've mentioned. I want to get in some grind as I've got plans for Saturday and thus only get in one day during the weekend.
So far today poker wise I've watched one video and if I manage to get home before tomorrow I'll get in a villain analyze.

Long-distance relationships can be tough
Got stuck yesterday, not being able to play/do something poker related. Today I'm at a friend's who's starting to play poker today! So I'm learning him while playing a tournament myself. I have an issue with playing poker in groups, so no cash game for me before later on tonight, if I don't go deep in the tourney. If I get home in ok time tonight I'll get of my ass and do some opponent analysis, otherwise I'll do two/three tomorrow.
Home already! Analyse one opponent, then one game heroes of newerth, then grind mode.
Alright, got in a few hours! Managed to use one of my new notes that I got through my analyse-all-the-usual-regs-process on a villain and owned him quite hard in a few spots. Great stuff! Sleep inc.
Analyzed another opponent. Now for a game of Heroes of newerth, then if the tables are running I'm in grind mode for a few hours. Tonight I'm 'booked' for a dinner party and maybe (likely) a night out.
Went for an all-nighter on saturday, still feeling the aftermath. This week is pokerpokerpokerpokerpokerpoker-mode.
Terrible day last day, was still hungover and did more or less nothing for the whole day. Today I'll compensate with a bunch of stuff. First breakfast though!
