SuperStar Showdown: Isildur1 Up Against Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu is going to be Isildur1's next opponent in the SuperStar Showdown. Unlike previous editions however, these two will play two rounds: one on the 20th and the other on the 27th of March.
It is now confirmed: Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu is going to take on team mate Viktor "Isildur1" Blom in the SuperStar Showdown.
This time, the two players will face each other on two different occasions:
- First round: will take place on March 20th, 20:00 GMT; it will consist of four tables of $50/$100 heads-up No Limit Hold'em. After 2,500 hands are played, their stacks will be carried over to the next round.
- Second round: will take place on March 27th, 20:00 GMT; it will consist of 2,500 more hands at four tables of $50/$100 heads-up No Limit Hold'em.
Negreanu has hinted several times in his blog that he will face Blom and now it's confirmed. He mentioned that he is working on his online game and he appears to be ready for the challenge.
He said: "It's all part of the learning process, and I'm a big believer in going all out against the fastest competition I can find, because then when I play others, the pace will seem comfortable."
