Nick Schulman wins Triton Poker Main Event for $4,145,000

The $100,000 Main Event at Triton Jeju attracted a staggering field of 196 entries, which created a final table that guaranteed five millionaires.

As expected, it was a stacked final table that included Isaac Haxton and Wesley Fei, but the match was to be decided between two of the most in-form high-stakes players right now: WSOP Paradise champion Bernhard Binder and 8-time bracelet winner Nick Schulman.

After a lengthy battle, Schulman reigned supreme, taking it down for $4,145,000.

It was a case of redemption for Schulman, who came runner up in the previous event he played here in Jeju for a prize of $810,279. This is his third high stakes tournament title this year.

As for Binder, his runner-up finish for $2,790,000 is his third seven-figure score in the last twelve months, having also won WSOP Paradise and a previous title in the last series in Jeju.

Elsewhere in Jeju, Ben Tollerene won his fifth Triton title in the $50,000 Triton Turbo Bounty Quattro event. He took down $412,000 and an additional $240,000 in bounties.
