Day 4 of the WPT Vienna has come to a close, and the 6 players who will advance to Sunday's final table have been determined. Those 6 are the last survivors from a 396-player starting field, and just 1 of them will become the WPT Vienna champion and pocket the $410,519 first-place prize.
Unfortunately, PokerStrategists Marko 'infinity1000' Neumann and Marc 'gork' Gork hit the rail during Day 4 and will not be returning for Day 5. Our newest coach Maximillian "mutardet" Senft, was the unlucky final table bubble boy, finishing one spot short of the 6-handed final. Hopefully the cash they received for their deep runs can help them feel a bit better about heading home.
Who made the final table?
Ognjen Sekularac (3,930,000 chips) - The leader heading into the final table is Serbian Ognjen Sekularac. He has earned over $450,000 in his live tournament career, highlighted by 2nd place finishes in both the 2011 Master Classics of Poker High Roller event in Amsterdam and the 2012 German Championship of Poker Grand Final in Rozvadov.
Morten Christensen (2,540,000 chips) - Danish Morten Christensen has no major live cashes before 2012, but the online player has a few small live cashes this year. Even if he finishes in 6th place (worth $63,101), this will be the largest cash of his career.
Benjamin Wilinofsky (2,270,000 chips) - Canadian Benjamin Wilinofsky is by far the most experienced player at this final table. He has over $1.2 million in live tournament earnings including a victory at the 2011 EPT Berlin, and he has a massive $2.6 million in online tournament earnings playing as 'NeverScaredB'.
Norbert Szecsi (1,210,000 chips) - Hungarian Norbert Szecsi's first live cash in a major tournament came this year with a 16th place finish at the EPT Deauville.
Konstantin Tolokno (1,085,000 chips) - Russian Konstantin Tolokno has about $250,000 in lifetime tournament earnings including a $130,000 score from finishing 2nd at the 2011 Merit Cyprus Classic.
Goswin Siemsen (875,000 chips) - The shortest stack heading into the final table is German Goswin Siemsen. He has minimal live tournament experience, and his chips are worth 29 big blinds at the current 15,000/30,000/5,000 level.
